Directions to FMRIB, John Radcliffe Hospital

The FMRIB Centre is located at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Headington, to the east of Oxford. FMRIB is adjacent to Car Park 1, between the West Wing and the Main Hospital.

HOW TO REACH US:

  • BY CAR

You can simply type “directions to fmrib” on Google Maps and follow the indications!

Bear in mind that there is very limited parking on the hospital site and on-street parking is not possible. The closest car park to FMRIB is Car park 1 and is pay and display.

To find the hospital follow signs for Oxford then the “H” / “A&E” and “Hospitals” signs. You’ll be directed via the A40 northern by-pass, and B5150 (Marsh Lane) or via Headington on the A420 London Road. These routes take you to the B4495 (Headley Way). The approach road to the John Radcliffe is on the Headley Way.

  • FROM LONDON BY COACH

The Oxford Tube and the Oxford Express services run regularly from London. Alight at the Headington Shops and follow the maps (links on this page) to find the FMRIB centre.

  • FROM THE CENTRE OF OXFORD BY BUS

Use buses X3, X13, 13, 23.
